What To Bring to the Appointment
When Buying a home you will need to bring/fax/Scan & email the following items to me:
1. 2009 & 2010 Federal tax returns (all schedules) including W-2 forms
2. Most recent 30 days of paycheck stubs
3. Most recent 2 months of bank statements/retirement accounts/proof of funds
4. If applicable: Bankruptcy papers (all schedules), divorce papers, Certificate of VA eligibility
5. For a refinance: Most recent mortgage statement(s) & fire/hazard insurance policy
Do Not do the Following:
1. Open new accounts (cars, credit cards, lines of credit)
2. Deposit large amounts of funds into your bank account(s) without proper paper trail (example: cash deposits). If the funds will be coming from a relative in a form of a gift, please consult with me before transferring any funds to avoid escrow delays
3. Apply for new credit cards or run your credit report multiple times as this can negatively affect your credit scores
4. Close credit card accounts. This will also negatively affect your credit scores
